How it works

Read the guide

01

Pick a pet

Every pet plays nine looping animations that mirror Codex's real work states — running, waiting, ready for review. Preview them all before you adopt.

02

Download the Codex pack

Each pet page has a Codex-ready zip: pet.json plus a spritesheet.webp — the exact layout Codex expects, no config needed.

03

Install & wake it

Copy the folder into ~/.codex/pets/, pick the pet in Codex settings, and run /pet. Free for personal, non-commercial projects — credit appreciated.
